Now typically I am not one to look to the past all that often. I have a lot of memories that are tough ones that made me the person I am today, and I think those memories have made me overlook the value of the other, happier ones. Today I was going through boxes of my stuff from grade school with my mom and brother, and it brought up a lot of great memories.
That along with some of my recent movie viewings (Big Hero 6, Wreck It Ralph) has made me really rethink my approach to the next project I work on. I have been in a real slump lately as far as new material goes, though there has been plenty to do on the publishing side of things, and I am hoping this will help. I am trying to come up with a more small scale, personal plot that focuses on the characters struggle in a world that they do NOT play a big part in. All of these large, world altering plotlines that I have been doing lately have worn me out slightly, and left me wanting something simpler. I'll be updating you as this develops!
It was a great day! Perhaps you should think about writing more of a comic relief book - you have an amazing sense of humor as illustrated in some of your earlier writings!
